Our sustainable hospitality

Hospitality is evolving, with an increasing focus on the impact our activities have on the environment. This is why, at Camping & Residence Maroadi, we strive every day to reduce consumption and waste, encourage sustainable mobility and raise awareness among our guests about more responsible choices.

Our goal is simple yet important: to guarantee a pleasant, high-quality stay while minimising environmental impact and contributing to the protection of our lake and the surrounding mountains

What we do in practice:

Electric charging points: available for guests with electric cars.

Solar panels: providing hot water for showers, the bar and the restaurant.
Photovoltaic panels: generating clean, renewable energy.

Bicycles: to explore the area with zero emissions
Sustainable mobility: thanks to the Garda Guest Card, our guests can use local buses and the Bus&Go service free of charge.

Waste sorting kits: distributed on arrival to facilitate proper waste management.

Clean-Up Day

We believe that hospitality also means caring for the environment around us.
This is why we organise Clean-Up Day — a special day dedicated to cleaning the lake's beaches together with our younger guests.
Children and adults participate with enthusiasm, collecting litter and leaving a tangible mark of respect for nature.
It is more than just a practical gesture: it is an example we want to pass on to future generations, showing that everyone can make a difference, even through simple actions.
